6 February 2006; K-Dun and the Press.
So we got Kate Dundon's page up and I think it looks pretty great. She made a real nice braces-border, don't you think? She's the best intern that I have ever had. Tonight we started a systematic image harvesting project in order to add sample images to the online catalog records. One book down, 290-some to go.
Also, tonight I spoke with Joanne Shen, a freelance writer who is doing an article for ReadyMade Magazine. Apparently the next issue is sort of dedicated to appropriation-friendly film and image collections and so she had a number of questions for me about the Library. What a treat to to be interviewed! She warned me that her editor might edit out our interview, but it was great to talk with her anyway. Think positive thoughts.
