So I just picked up the new issue of ReadyMade Magazine and was pleased to see a small item about the Reanimation Library in a sidebar next to the article about the Prelingers. Check it out, if you get a chance. Also, the new issue of jubilat is out and it includes a few images from the Library.

A number of things have happened in the past few weeks. I have hosted two students from the Pratt School of Information and Library Science who needed to interview a librarian for school assignments. I am happy to host these type of interviews and make connections with library school students and find potential allies.

I finished going through the Archives of E. J. Applewhite and found some more nice items to add to the collection, including a couple of hotel brochures from the 70's. This image is from the Hotel President in Lecce, Italy. It makes me want to attend a conference.

Kate Dundon has begun systematically scanning 3-5 images from each book in the collection. These images will become part of the online catalog as a means to further help identify the visual material contained within the books. Its a huge project, but one that will ultimately make the catalog much more useful.
