I found the Reanimation Library thanks to the use of social networking sites.I really liked the concept of using once discarded books as inspiration to art. I'm kind of an old book saver myself. I used to take the books they pulled for discards at my old job and keep them for my own collection. Sometimes I didn't wait for them to be discarded...Always wanting to help out the underdog, I emailed Andrew wondering if he needed an intern. He sure did and so begins my journey in scanning amazingly awesome (and sometimes awkward) images for the sake of art....

My name is Rubyliza. I'm a grad student at Pratt's School of Information and Library Sciences. Aside from the obvious librarian interest of reading, I like caramel, writing sentences using alliteration, collecting museum pins, and wondering if that stain on my ceiling is non-toxic. I also enjoy taking pictures of the food and writing about them. I'm here to remind Andrew to unplug lamps before he changes light bulbs. Not only for his safety, but also because I don't know to explain to the EMTs where they can enter the building.
