SPORES

Spores are migratory fragments of the main library's collection that take up residence in external locations for temporary periods of time, often–though not necessarily–in the context of group exhibitions. Generally smaller in size and not site-sourced, spores allow the library to circulate parts of its collection to situations where establishing a branch is not possible or desirable. In general, spores do not feature library-generated artwork, though they do include scanning/photocopying capabilities.
