With the exception of Adobe Photoshop and the pixel font, FFF Urban, designed by Fonts for Flash, this site has been assembled solely with the use of open source resources.

The structure of the Catalog database was derived from the Metadata Object Description Schema (MODS), a bibliographic XML schema developed by the Library of Congress which is located here: http://www.loc.gov/standards/mods/.

While this site can be viewed with any browser, it looks best in Mozilla Firefox, a great open source browser that can be downloaded for free here: http://www.mozilla.org/. There are still some problems with certain pages rendering correctly in IE 5.1 for Macintosh, so it is advisable to use an alternate browser if you are viewing this site with a Mac.
