Periodically, we invite an individual that we admire to write a short essay about a book from the library that they find particularly compelling. The majority of work produced from the library is visual in nature, yet the library contains large quantities of written words and ideas that also merit attention. Word Processor provides a space to critically engage the written material in the collection, and to investigate some of the conceptual dimensions of the library's collection.
The current installment of Word Processor is written by Kurt Gottschalk, who responds to The RAND Corporation's A Million Random Digits with 100,000 Normal Deviates. You can read it here.
